IMG_3999The Sharing Youth football Club was formed in 1989 by the founders of the center, the Missionaries of Africa. The aim of the team has been since then to educate young people in values and help them develop their talents improving their lives. By being high level sports men, they are able to earn a living and attain scholarships to further their studies.

The team as also got the Youth Academy for the young upcoming players of the centre especially between the age of 12 and 17, where most of the players in the senior team start from and promoted after some time to the big team.

The team has played in several first division leagues since 1987, till it reached the next level in 2008 when it won the Kampala regional mini league and joined the elites of Uganda soccer in the top flight category, the “Super League”, facing great teams like Villa, K.C.C., U.R.A., and many others.

Unfortunately, despite the efforts put in by players and management at the end of the season the team was relegated, part of the reason the luck of competitive budget comparing with other clubs at this top level.

For this season 2012-2013 the team is the “REGIONAL LEAGUE” where its playing with the efforts of the centre apparently, as will be waiting to hear a response from the requested sponsors to join hands with to move it to the next level.
