Summer Camps
JDF is excited to offer FULL DAY Summer Camps for 2024. We currently have 1 week of camp scheduled - July 22-26. We will also be offering before and after camp care.
JDF FC is excited to unveil an advanced Competitive Pathway program for U14/U15 Boys and Girls, focusing on developing soccer talents poised to make a significant impact in the sport. This player focused program is specially crafted to prime our athletes for success in the 2025 Provincial A Cup, with a broader ambition of securing a place in the Canada Soccer National Championships.
Set to commence in September 2024 and conclude in July 2025, the program will have training scheduled 2-3 times weekly during the season. These sessions are designed to elevate our teams' capabilities, ensuring they are well-equipped to challenge for the Provincial A Cup and hopefully contest for national recognition at the Canada Soccer National Championships.
JDF FC is delighted to announce our U13 Introduction to Competition Pathway Program, a precursor to our comprehensive Competitive Pathway program for U14 Boys and Girls set to commence in September 2024. This spring initiative, launching for players born in 2011, is the first step in our dedicated effort to cultivate the soccer stars of tomorrow, aligning seamlessly with the Pacific Football Club's player development pathway, including the Tier 1 Wave program.
Our Spring Introduction to Competition Pathway U13 program is crafted to guide young talents as they embark on their journey within the competitive soccer landscape. Rooted in the principles of the Canada Soccer Pathway and the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model, our program aims to provide a well-rounded soccer education. It caters to athletes at all levels, from those just discovering their love for the game to those aiming for the Competitive or EXCEL tiers, ensuring a passion for soccer is nurtured at every stage.

Sandy Stewart Memorial Mini Fest CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
JDF is excited to hold the 5th annual Sandy Stewart Memorial Mini Festival on Sunday, March 10th for players U7-U12. We want to ensure all players and families are aware of the festival's namesake (Sandy Stewart) and the important contributions he made to the club.
Sandy was involved in many areas of youth soccer at JDF. He ran referee training courses, mentored referees, was involved in scholarship committees, helped with player assessments, and was the divisional coordinator for multiple years. He spent countless hours volunteering his time wherever he was needed, but what he was mostly known for was his coaching, and for fighting for what was best for kids in every aspect of soccer, school and life.
One of Sandy's guiding principles was that if something was good for kids, it was worth doing, and worth doing well, for ALL kids. We want to thank Sandy and his family for all they have done for JDF. So today let's make sure all kids, regardless of what team they play for, have a positive experience around the game of soccer as their families cheer them on!
The 4th annual Sandy Stewart Memorial Mini Festival for all U7-U12 JDF teams will be held on Saturday March 18, 2023 at the Juan de Fuca Rec Centre.

Lower Island Mini Fest (Oct 14/15)
JDF is excited to host the annual Lower Island Mini Fest on Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th for players U7-U10. Each team is scheduled to play two games. All games will be played on fields at the West Shore Parks and Rec located in Colwood.
During a weekend in October, Kristal Lowe, the JDF Director of Referees, promoted a "women in sport" initiative. It was arranged that all the Super 8 girls games would be played on one field with female referees, assistant referees and mentors all in attendance. It was a great opportunity to showcase the youth female referees, assistant referees and mentors. Kristal would like to thank this group of female officials for their effort and commitment to reffing every weekend with JDF Soccer. A special shout out to Emma Sparrow and Lucy Haigh, a few of the mentors, who work tirelessly with all the young referees to help them grow and develop into the best they can be!
Congratulations to Lucy, Amy, Petra, Genevieve, Laney, Maia, Kyara and Emma for being selected as the LISA Referee's of the Month!
